Can a doctor from AIIMS buy a Rolls Royce?

An additional professor or senior professor earns around 1,80,000 to 2,00,000. Apparently the prof earns Rs. 21,60,000 to 24,00,000 annually.

Now considering the above wage let’s figure out whether,

Can an AIIMS or highly earning doctor buy a Rolls Royce?

Let’s see what is the cost of a Standard Rolls-Royce Ghost in New Delhi.

RTO – Rs 52,54,000

Insurance – Rs 20,34,827

TCS – Rs. 5.25

So the on-road price of a Rolls-Royce Ghost is Rs. 6,03,13,827*

However, one can see that the yearly insurance of the RR alone cost around 20 lakhs, which is just the annual salary of the senior prof, plus the RTO charge double the professor’s wage.

Hence, it’s really impossible for an AIIMS doctor to buy a Rolls-Royce if he/she is solely dependent on one source of income.
